I led the technical development of a project, working with a team of six specialists to produce a coordinated and consistent product.

Responsible for developing a high-quality metrology product in rapid time scales. Day to day responsibilities include product design, component selection, safety, and product reliability checks.
Working with the marketing team on design of the customer user guide. The guide follows clear English guidelines, so that it can be translated into several languages.
Developed a technology demonstrator unit for exhibitions and promotional events. The unit has a simple user interface, designed for quick operation during a presentation.
Used graphics skills to produce user interfaces for a high-volume software product.
Learned the importance of company procedures, and terminology associated with engineering development.

Council Member & Fire leader, BSES Expeditions
BSES Expeditions, at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London, SW7 2AR
BSES Is a youth development charity and I volunteer to sit on the council. In particular I help to provide strategic direction to their marketing campaigns, helping to develop methods of data collection and metrics-gathering for the full-time Marketing Manager.
I also led a group of 12 students aged 16-20 on four-week expeditions in North East Greenland (2006), Svalbard (2004), and North East Greenland (2003).

Developed a comprehensive risk assessment, and liaised with college to manage health and safety requirements. Developed a scheme for complying with council regulations.

Cambridge Greenland Glaciology Expedition 2002

I was medical officer for an expedition of five students, studying the geology and glaciology of Louise Boyd's Land. The expedition included a 200-mile ski trek over parts of the Greenland ice-cap.

Responsible for medical and first-aid requirements of the party. Attended two practical training courses and arranged several discussions with University medical staff.
Took a leading role in managing the technical equipment and taking reliable measurements.
Developed the expedition website and publicity materials.
